What do you think about wearing bright, springy colors during winter {or in this case, a full blown blizzard}?

LOVE the bright colors! This winter I've worn a lot of my summer dresses with sweaters over it, so I've done a better job of wearing brighter colors.

I love it! I used to live in the midwest, and wearing bright colors in the winter was a necessity, because the sun didn't come out for almost 4 months!
Colors are fun, you look like you need a coat on for the blizzard outside!! I'm not sure about rain boots in snow either...Do you work at JCrew?
Those are rain boots, not snow boots. Also, it's funny how everyone is obsessed with Hunter boots now. I've had my two pairs of Hunters for years. Come on Utah, time to catch up a little faster.

The boots are cute, but you should get some snow boots and a coat! You look cold! I like the outfit itself, but the pink boots and pink skirt is a little matchy.
i like wearing spring/summer colors in winter, but not head to toe. it ends up looking too out of context rather than just giving a fun surprise. you're a gorgeous girl who could probably pull just about anything off though!

LOVE the outfit!! I always wear what I feel like wearing no matter the season. Only black in winter??? Boring!!! And I wear white pants a good part of the year!! When it's cold outside we need a little pick me up!! I also feel sorry for people who make rude comments, no need for it!! Were just here to learn from each other. Thanks for all the good ideas!!

I don't think the floors matter as long as the fabrics are appropriate and yours certainly are!!
