Fall Uniform

Remember when Whitney showed us her summer uniform?

Well, meet my fall uniform.
My fall uniform... in a beautiful garden in Lexington, Kentucky.....with a little man statue?
Whenever we have somewhere to go- Sam's Club, Kroger, Papa Murphy's, or ....Lexington, Kentucky-- this is what I put on.  Black jeans.  And a striped shirt.  It's just so comfortable.
Everything on my body: TJ Maxx

So, since this outfit is going anywhere soon...I realize I could really jazz it up with some additional items.  AND I could also wear this outfit more if I had different ways of accessorizing it.  Right?

Right.
So, if you're thinking, "Hey, why don't you try a smidge of make-up and actually doing your hair"-- I see your point.  I think that would do a lot for the outfit.   But, I can't take back the fact that I didn't actually get ready when these photos were taken. And plus, I don't usually get ready when I run errands.  So I really need some accessory help to make up for it.

So, what would you add to this outfit to liven it up?  Necklace? Belt? Sombrero?

The options are endless...I just need some direction.

I would add a pop of color in a pair of flats and then add a complimentary color with a chunky necklace:)

Colored flats would go great with this. I also think you could add a long necklace or a brooch/pin :)

Colored flats for a pop of color or a scarf would look cute!

I definitely agree with colored flats and some other bright accessory, like a scarf or even just a watch.

That "little man" statue is a jockey...you are in KY after all.

I would add some red! It's an any way to make any outfit pop. I think a long lariat necklace or a skinny belt would look good!

I'd add a chunky necklace in teal or red...or any multi colored one like these: http://www.francescascollections.com/category/fashion+jewelry/necklaces.do?sortby=ourPicks&page=all

I think a solid color cardigan and a necklace, and if it's a long cardigan a belt.

i always default (on top of this outfit) either a plain colored or a floral cardigan ( love floral and stripes) and a scarf. but that might be too toasty for kentucky weather still.

That little man statue's boots are actually pretty cute, LOL! I think a blazer would add nicely to this outfit, even though its pretty fantastic already!

I love the sleeve on your top. It really dresses up a casual outfit :)

I would totally throw on a cute solid scarf in a bright color like aqua, pink or green or a pair of bright colored flats and a long necklace. Just something easy that you can still throw on and go, although you look pretty cute for "not getting ready"!

I agree with the colored flats that several people have already mentioned... or a chunky colored necklace... probably red. But since you mentioned a sombrero... I kinda wanna see that! LoL! =)

maybe some colored skinnies? I love black and white stripes on black though it's very Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face. but ya maybe some brightly colored accessories, or a cute hat, or a fun blazer/cloak thing over it all :)
